11 May - Reverb Part Two

Arrived today. Checked it out, put it on the board. Beyond impressed. At least five of the eight reverb types are going to be useful to me. Three of the five more often than the others, but still. There are superb sounds in this thing.

9 May - Reverb

A new reverb pedal is on the way. It's got eight different types of reverb built in, and the one which sold me on it is a tremolo/reverb setting that will allow me to blend in bit of that old school wobble when a song calls for it. I have missed having tremolo available to me, but didn't want to add another pedal to the board. The second selling point to the new 'verb is that it's still a compact pedal like the one that's on the board now. It won't require any additional space. Third point is that the other settings sound good, too. Sure, there will be a couple I won't go to often, but that's true of all pedals. We set them for the sounds we want, not for the things they can do that we don't need.

5 May - New Show Confirmed

Group DeVille (we've decided to drop the "trio" addendum because everyone still just calls us Group DeVille anyway) will be playing Tangle Chocolate on June 28th. This is the place where I played that solo show back in March. It's a fun room, so mark your calendars now.
